Det är ingen hemlighet att det är kris i Flyers just nu. Jag hittade följande "artikel" som verkligen stämmer in på hur det är just nu:

Flyers Arrested for Theft

Philadelphia (AP) - Three Philadelphia Flyers were arrested yesterday afternoon on charges of stealing money from the organization for the past 2 months. Mark Recchi, Keith Primeau, and John LeClair have all been charged and face court dates in the near future. All three have posted bond and were released last night.

These arrests come as no suprise to loyal Flyer fans who have been ripped off by these "superstars" play all season long. Within the last 2 months, these 3 "superstars" have taken the team from being a driving force in the east to playing like a disinterested middle of the pack team.

"I'm shocked," said Primeau when asked for comment. "I have no idea what's going on right now. I scored a huge goal yesterday against the best goalie in the NHL, top shelf to boot. I guess someone wasn't paying attention."

When pressed about the goal being into an empty net, Primeau had no comment.

Recchi has been the worst offender of the 3 players this year rarely bringing anything to the table. A shell of the player he once was, Recchi has done nothing recently but throw blind passes into either the slot or to the point where none of his teammates ever are positioned.

When asked for comment, Recchi blamed bad ice for his poor play.

"I've had 3 or 4 goals this year taken away by snow being built up in the crease. Like the other night in Toronto, did you see that move I made, if Schwab didn't build up that giant mountain of snow by the goal line we would have won that game."

LeClair, the left winger who has stolen the most money this year after signing a $10,000,000 contract in the off-season, has one goal in what seems to be a lifetime. Like Primeau, LeClair seemed caught off-guard by the arrest.

"Didn't you see me in the Olympics?" asked LeClair. "I hit and everything. I actually acted like I was trying to play hard."

General Manager Bob Clarke was non-commital when asked for the 3 players playing status for tommorrow night.

"Did you see Lindros missed 2 more games last week," asked Clarke with a smile. "I just think that's great. He's hurting that team with his fake injuries and his parents. They're really struggling."

When asked about his own teams recent struggles, Clarke responded, "I just got David Harlock and 12 more draft picks."
