The big ice will be to his advantage because of his size and speed.He is physical though and will be a surprise offensive player for you on the season. Very disrespected by the leafs organization and moved on out of neccessity.
Kills your penalties,very quick player,works hard shift in shift out. You have a solid player that seems to be coming into his own at present.
Yes he is smart and will transition well.
(How do you all think he will adapt to the big ice? Dose he have the speed and "hockey IQ" to make a smooth transition?)
