Scouting Report Carl is a great two-way player. He is a good skater with a fluid and powerfull stride. He uses his quck feet to get around the defensemen with ease. He has a solid shot which he uses carefully. His hockey sense and skills are top-notch. He can handle the puck in full flight and is a great one-on-one player. Being only 17 years of age, Carl is a strong player who wins most of his battles in the corners. He doasn`t have time to go around and hit people as he is always generating offense, but he is physicly abel.
Notes He is among the top three players in the Swedish Junior league allready and should take the next step next year and spend some time in the Elitserien.
Draft Projection Top 15 in the 2004 NHL draft
Hope that this gives you a bit of insight on Carl. By the way I don`t think that the Wings are going to abel to grab this guy next year as he is a surefire top-15 pick, but we can allways hope.....
