Sv: Linje 19 Reloaded?
På CanucksCorner.com nämns detta den 31 juli:

"According to Sportsnet, the Sedin twins and Alex Auld have turned down qualifying offers.
I think the Sedins and Alex Auld have made an error. The Canucks have an opportunity to stick it to all three players because none of them have any leverage. If they are to continue to progress, they have to play in the NHL.

The qualifying offer is now off the table and the Canucks will not sign a one year contract with either the Sedins or Auld. They will table a three year contract that is favourable to the Canucks. The players will have a choice. They can take it or leave it. If they leave it they are on the Peter Schaefer trail to nowhere. If they take it they are Brent Sopel or Matt Cooke, forced to concede arbitration rights, and eventually sign contracts that underpay them in later years.

All three players should have taken their 10% raises. Under this CBA they don't get the leverage until next year when they acquire arbitration rights. If history is a guide - and I can't imagine Nonis changing the Burke negotiating strategy - the Canucks play hardball. The players just knocked on the Canucks opportunity door.

It says here Nonis answers the knock.
