Hayden: "It was a great battle, everyone was out for blood today. I made a push towards the end of the race and I thought that I might have been able to take one of them but they rode great. It is great to be here on the podium, the team changed everything on Friday and we just didn't get it done."
Capirossi: "I had a f*****g bad start. I used my rear tyre too much in trying to get back with the leaders and that paid at the end. It is fantastic for us and while we were so close to the win, the championship is looking good."
Rossi: "This is one of my best victories for sure. Loris was unbelievable and winning in front of this crowd is very special."
