New York Rangers defenceman Darius Kasparaitis underwent an MRI today to determine the extent of the injury he suffered in the warm-up prior to the game on January 14 at Detroit.
The result of the test confirmed that he suffered a grade one sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee and will remain sidelined on a day-to-day basis.
